Health and fitness is a commitment and I am here learning to be the best version of myself, together with you. My focus is to get results through fitness techniques that actually work to burn fat and build tone, instill healthy eating patterns that support you from the inside out and encourage you to live a PROACTIVE and INTENTIONAL life that you are proud of.
About Me
I’m Diana Chepurny
A believer, wife, mom, RN, and a fitness lover. I started this blog as a way to encourage busy moms to build strength and confidence through fitness and nutrition, in the cracks of time of #momlife.
My Journey
I’ve always been active growing up. In school I was involved in many sports, soccer, track and field and the competitive spirit inside me, still remains.
Before starting a family, I had plenty of time to schedule my workouts and go to the gym. I had no time constraints or any major responsibilities, yet I lacked discipline and consistency. Fast forward to 2017 when I became a mom, the amount of responsibility and lack of time really weighted heavily on me and I felt like I had no control over my daily life. I spent the next year caring for my beautiful baby with zero confidence and respect for myself. I was the most unhappy with the lack of energy and lack of confidence I had, internally.
I quickly learned that in order for me to thrive, I must adapt and change my habits to fit in the things that have the biggest impact on my physical, mental and spiritual health. I made time for Fitness. I made the time to take care of my physical and emotional well-being, and the result? I am a much better wife and mom because of it.
I don’t always have the desire to exercise, in fact, 80% of the time I don’t, but with discipline and changing my mindset to be result driven, I’ve committed to show up daily. And it’s the best feeling to push yourself past the lack of motivation and stand on the other side, accomplished. If I can do it, I know you can too!
I’ve gained so much courage, confidence and energy back by eating and exercising with intention. Not to mention, I gained functional strength and I no longer feel like my arms and back are breaking every time I lift my son! My physical strength transformed my inner strength and has given me a much brighter outlook on life. I want the same for every single mom out there.
My Commitment
I blog during early mornings and between nap times to inspire and help you to not only look stronger, better, fitter, but to FEEL STRONG and empowered. We as moms, wear a lot of hats, but weakness is not one of them. The best thing you can do for your family is to take care of your mind, body and spirit so that you can be the best servant to those around you. It starts with YOU! Allow me to guide and help you make sustainable changes in your life, that don’t involve yo-yo dieting and starvation, because a Healthy mom equals a healthy home.
I help moms like you achieve a fit and lean physique through strength training in the comfort of your home. Strength training is what will give you the greatest result in terms of fat loss and muscle tone. Why work harder, spending hours on the treadmill not getting the results you are looking for, if you can work SMARTER, burn fat, build muscle tone and increase your metabolism all at the same time! I’m breaking down the barriers, because strength and weight training is not just for men, it’s for moms too!
I combine my love and experience for fitness with my nursing education to help busy tired moms restore their physical and mental well-being by implementing evidence based fitness and nutrition advice. I like simple, easy, uncomplicated, do-able information. That’s exactly what this space is all about.
